The Desert Twilight XC Festival answered some questions about the cross country teams, but some new questions arose from the individual performances.

First Team:

The men of the diamond return this week and, as always with baseball in Arizona, the level of play will be high and the presence of professional scouts just might outnumber fans in attendance when certain prospects take the mound.

When the state basketball brackets are released on Sunday afternoon some of the teams — the ones earning the top seeds — played a game the night before.

Travis Schureman was a bit perplexed, much like everyone else, but he isn’t as concerned as others about where the Queen Creek football program will land once divisional placement is finalized.
