Tempe Town Lake

Residents are invited to “Welcome Back the Trout” to Tempe Town Lake 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Rainbow trout from the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Page Springs Hatchery and some larger bonus trout from a vendor will be released at the SRP Tempe Town Lake Marina. Then, the department will conduct a fishing clinic. Anglers of all ages will be given loaner roads, reels and bait.

In addition to trout, bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie and carp are found in Town Lake.

Attendees will also be able to fish without a fishing license during the event.

I have not even heard about this sort of fantastic event where all resident of specific city is invited to enjoy the fish day. This day the person who catches more fishes wins the handsome reward.
