The Ahwatukee Pony League Baseball Mustang Division was won by the Rockies last week after battling their way through the losers bracket with six straight wins.
The Mustangs lost their first game of tournament play to the Giants before coming back to beat them twice for the championship. Both games proved to be dramatic and the final game was won, 8-6, at Akimel’s north field.
