Grab your friends and loved ones and head out to the exclusive Otsukimi Japanese Moonviewing Festival at the Japanese Friendship Garden in downtown Phoenix Oct. 23-24, 6:30-9 p.m.

The festival will offer attendees a whimsical evening surrounded by an illuminated garden. Enjoy delicious Japanese food and culture as you explore the garden. Those in attendance will hear from talented musicians as they take part in the intimate Japanese celebration of the full moon.

There will also be a tea demonstration offered for an additional $5 that can be purchased at the event. Japanese tea will be served by ladies dressed in full kimono in the tea garden.

As this is a limited space event, advanced tickets can be purchased for $20-$30 at brownpapertickets.com/event/2162954 on a first-come, first-served basis.
