East Valley Institute of Technology

EVIT, an A+ School, has been cited by Gov. Doug Ducey as a model of what a career and technical-education school should be and honored by Time magazine as “a school that works.” Over 90 percent of its students are placed in jobs, college or the armed services. Students attend EVIT and their high school a half day each. Among career-training options are automotive, aviation, building trades, cosmetology, culinary arts, fashion and interior design, firefighting, health care and welding.
