Of her 23 years as a teacher, Jennifer Pearce has been at CTA Independence since it opened in 2006. She enjoys watching her students’ faces “when they grasp a new idea,” but said an equally “positive thing about teaching is working with competent and dedicated fellow teachers.” “Their hard work and preparation for the new programs and technical learning this year has intensifi ed my respect for all teachers throughout my building, throughout C.U.S.D., and across the country,” Pearce said. “We are all working extremely hard to help our students learn through these unusual circumstances. I want to thank the Chandler community for not only giving me this honor, but also giving grace to all CUSD teachers knowing that we are putting forth our best e orts each and every day.”
