Scottsdale Prep cruises past Fredonia

Scottsdale Prep moved to 2-0 by jumping to a 50-0 halftime lead and coasting to a 50-6 win over Fredonia on Thursday night. Scottsdale has outscored its first two opponents 124-0 in the first half this season.

Junior receiver Matt Munsil had 5 catches for 107 yards and 3 TDs, all in the first quarter. Sophomore QB Nick Smith was 9 of 15 for 185 passing and 4 TDs, and ran five times for 72 yards and another TD. Junior RB Greyson Boyll had 5 carries for 101 yards and a TD. Scottsdale Prep’s first team defense held Fredonia to minus-24 yards in the first half.
