Jack Alokpovi rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Josh Booth played through an injury to lead visiting Glendale over Coronado 26-7 in a 4A non-region game Friday afternoon

Despite being sacked three times in the first half, suffering an apparent leg injury and only completing one of his first four pass attempts, the hobbled Booth showed great poise in completing eight of his next 10 passes, including two fourth-down passes of 15 and 25 yards each.

Tyler Bair had an excellent all-around performance for the Dons, rushing for 95 yards on 17 carries, recovering a fumble and kicking an extra point.
