Phoenix Arcadia remained undefeated in the 4A East Sky Region with a 7-0 win over Tempe in a girls soccer match Tuesday at Arcadia.

Seven different players scored for the Titans (11-2, 3-0). Arcadia will play its final region game next week and will look to capture the region title.

GIRLS SOCCER

Fueled by two Madyson Wellcome goals as well as a goal from Jaci Teresinski, Hamilton (6-10-1) shut out visiting Mesquite 3-0. ...

Lisa Andreassen’s overtime goal lifted Marcos de Niza over visiting Desert Vista in a 2-1 victory.

BOYS SOCCER

Ryen Helzer and Corey Welch combined for a shutout as visiting Chandler beat Desert Ridge 6-0 in a 5A Fiesta Region match. Sergio Lezama, Sam White, Gabe Santa Cruz, Kyle Holbrook, Derek Conti, and James Cappuccio each scored a goal for the Wolves (7-7-1, 5-2). ...

Desert Vista defeated visiting Marcos de Niza 4-2 by exploding for four second-half goals. Four different Thunder (10-6) players — Nick Romero, Brian Holmes, Sean Macnabb and Zack Bower — each found the net.

Juan Reyes broke a 1-1 tie with 7 minutes to go to give Tempe (12-0-1) a 2-1 victory over visiting Arcadia in a 4A East Sky Region match. ...

Highland won at home 3-2 in a shootout over Gilbert in a 5A Fiesta Region game. Ryan Baker scored both of the Hawks’ goals in the second half to send the game into overtime. In the shootout, Zack Cruzzocreo scored the final goal to give Highland (14-3-2, 5-1) the 8-7 shootout victory.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Charles Wood scored 39 points and Arcadia overcame an eight-point third quarter to hold on and defeat visiting Coronado 70-62 in a 4A East Sky Region game.

After the Dons (5-0 East Sky) took a 47-46 lead into the fourth quarter, the Titans outscored Coronado 24-15 in the final quarter to get the win. ...

Josh James’ 21 points, including six 3-pointers, helped Highland defeat visiting Chandler 72-57. Chase Wardrop added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks (1-2), and Eli Godinez led the Wolves (1-2) with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists.. . .

Forest Stolk and Jeremy Melcher-Post combined for 38 points to help visiting Horizon Honors to a 72-59 victory over Phoenix Country Day in a 2A Metro Region game. Stolk finished with 20 points and Melcher-Post had 18 for the Eagles (11-7, 6-1).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

A record-tying night for Katrina Graham helped propel visiting Desert Mountain over Phoenix Shadow Mountain 52-44. Graham scored 25 points for the Wolves (2-1), but it was her six rebounds that tied her for the school record in career rebounds. Stephanie Douthit contributed 14 points, five rebounds and five assists. ...

Seton Catholic defeated visiting Coolidge 69-60 in a game where the top two 3A South Region teams faced off. The Sentinels (6-1 South) used Nikki Magnus’ 21 points as well as Dominique Whitmore’s 13 points and 10 rebounds. Shantel Moss kept the Bears (6-1 region) close, scoring 18 points. ...

Host Pinnacle beat Millennium 57-40 in a 4A nonregion game. Kelsey Carter led the Pioneers with 16 points and 10 rebounds and Kirstyn Shaw contributed a career-high 18 rebounds. ...

Andrea Ortega scored 18 points as host Coronado beat Arcadia 55-49 in a 4A East Sky Region game. Tabatha Williams added 16 points, and 10 rebounds for the Dons. Lexi Moody led the Titans with 13 points.
