Outlook: This is a big night for McClintock. A victory could be just what the Chargers need to get in position for making the playoffs.

A 3-0 start means the Chargers probably would only have to finish 4-3 to make the 4A-I playoffs.

Granted, 4A-II Tempe and Willow Canyon have not provided stiff tests for the Chargers. Yet they have done what has been needed. They can run the ball and play solid defense.

Apollo is a very formidable opponent. The Hawks like to run the ball and did it well last week in beating Catalina Foothills 49-19.

Address: 8045 N. 47th Ave., Glendale

Records: McClintock 2-0; Apollo 2-0

Last year’s meeting: McClintock 35, Apollo 17
