Address: 1830 E. Del Rio Drive, Tempe; Records: Thunderbird 2-6, 0-2 Desert Sky Region; McClintock 6-2, 1-1; Gametime: 7:00 p.m.

Outlook:

McClintock has coach Steve Campbell pulling out his hair. The Chargers have been very hard to figure out lately.

After roaring to a 5-0 start, the Chargers were upset at Lake Havasu. Then they got whipped by Saguaro before knocking off then-No. 5 Pinnacle last Friday. McClintock usually plays solid defense. The Chargers just need to stay away from turnovers and they should be fine.

Phoenix Thunderbird has struggled most of the season. Its only victories are over two teams that have struggled themselves, Avondale Agua Fria and Phoenix Washington.

Tied for ninth in the 4A-I powerpoint rankings, the Chargers understand a victory tonight is important to get a decent seed in the 16-team playoffs, especially with No. 3 Chaparral looming next week in their regular season finale.
