Scottsdale Christian edged Yuma Catholic in a one-hole playoff, Tuesday to win the Class 1A-2A boys team golf title at Aguila Golf Course in Laveen.
The two teams were tied at 626 through two rounds, so five players from each team played the 18th hole. The high scores were thrown out to determine the winner.
Yuma Catholic’s R.J. Wood took individual medalist honors after shooting a two-day total of 135, 9-under par.
