Alysoune is a wonderful girl who should be refered to as an inspiration and role model for any young person in dealing with difficult circumstances and choosing to persevere. I know Alysoune and her family well. I coach with her track club, the Arizona Flames, of which she will finish the track season seeking more national success. I appreciate the attention given to Alysoune. She is a proud person and we are very proud of her.

Alysoune is a testament of success amid trials and difficulties. "I can't do this", is not part of her agenda. If I was able to have an entire squad of athletes with her work ethic being the state champion team would be no problem. It is an honor to know her and her family.
