Mountain Pointe’s Michael Moore returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a score and the Pride were rolling in a 67-0 rout of visiting Phoenix South Mountain (1-3) Friday.
The Pride (1-3) didn’t seem discouraged after three tough losses to three solid teams. Brad Falk wrapped two TD passes to Travis Hardee around three TD runs by Moore as Mountain Pointe jumped out to a 39-0 halftime lead over the Jaguars.
“We got off the ball real well,” said coach Karl Kiefer after his 303rd career win. “We’ll see what we can do next week.”
