Despite a quick touchdown by host Flagstaff Sinagua, Scottsdale Notre Dame Prep ran right through the Mustangs' defense en route to a 34-14 win Friday night.
After Sinagua (1-5) went up 6-0, the Saints (5-1) answered right back with an interception followed by a 60-yard touchdown catch by Anthony Greco, who had four catches for 100 yards.
Patrick Foley ran 12 times for 108 yards and two scores for the Saints and Andrew Stutz added 110 yards and one score on seven carries.
The interception proved to be the turning point of the game as Notre Dame added 14 more points to end the half, 21-6.
The Saints came out of the locker room pumped up as they pounded there running game, as well as their passing, to the Mustangs in the second half.
Notre Dame went to its ground game on the next to score the next 13 points with one of those scores coming off of a quarterback sneak from one yard out.
