BY THE NUMBERS: Going into the regular-season finale the Badgers are in a tie for 15th in the power points with Catalina Foothills. Assuming the Cobras complete an undefeated regular season the two teams may faceoff again next week in round one of the 4A Div-I playoffs. The Cobras continued their roll through what was a perceived tough region with a 41-0 rout of Independence. In improving to 4-0 in region play the Cobras have now outscored region opponents 180-25.
LAST WEEK’S STARS: Offensively senior quarterback Jonathan Tobin (No. 14) shredded the Patriots secondary completing 13-of-20 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns. In pitching their third shutout of the season, seniors Josh Florence (No. 25) and Anthony Freeman (No. 50) both had interceptions.
Sunrise Mt. (5-4, 4-2) at Centennial (7-2, 5-1)

BY THE NUMBERS: Centennial’s rout of region rival Ironwood, 48-10, has moved the Coyotes into the No. 3 spot in the Power Rankings. If the playoffs started today, the Coyotes would open by playing host to 3-6 Skyline.
LAST WEEK’S STARS: Sunrise Mountain senior running back Cole Ptacek (No. 5) had a season best 223 yards rushing on 18 carries as the Mustangs improved to 5-4 with a 42-26 win over La Joya.
La Joya (2-7, 0-6) at Ironwood (7-2, 4-2)

BY THE NUMBERS: Ironwood’s first losing streak of the season has to be attributed to the defense which has yielded 104 points the last two weeks in losses to Maryvale and Centennial.
Peoria (3-6, 3-3) at Maryvale (8-1, 6-0)
ADDRESS: 3415 N. 59th Ave., Phoenix
BY THE NUMBERS: A 20-0 second quarter broke open a close game as Peoria won its second consecutive game, 40-14.
LAST WEEK’S STARS: Senior quarterback Dale Hunnewell (No. 12) had his best game of his career throwing for 311 yards on 9-of-17 passing and five touchdowns.
Deer Valley (4-5, 2-3) at Goldwater (5-4, 3-2)
ADDRESS: 2820 W. Rose Garden Lane, Phoenix
BY THE NUMBERS: Deer Valley’s magic number appears to be 30. When the Skyhawks score 30 points they’re 4-0, when they fail to reach 30 points they’re 0-5.
LAST WEEK’S STARS: Senior running back Austin Gaysue (No. 26) is doing everything in his power to get his team to the playoffs. Gaysue carried the ball 41 times for 255 yards and three touchdowns as the Skyhawks punished the Yuma Criminals 31-18.
