Updated baseball rankings, as of April 15:

Division I

1. Desert Mountain 23-3

2. Sandra Day O’Connor 26-1

3. Desert Ridge 22-5

4. Hamilton 16-5

5. St. Mary’s 20-3

6. Gilbert 18-6

7. Pinnacle 17-10

8. Brophy 15-8

9. Tucson 22-4

10. Trevor Browne 19-4

Desert Mountain has now won 10 consecutive games and takes over the top spot in the rankings. Sandra Day O’Connor bounced back with a perfect week to jump to No. 2, followed by Desert Ridge, which has won 11 in a row. Hamilton drops three spots after losing games to Brophy and Mesquite last week, while St. Mary’s sticks at No. 5 after splitting a pair of games against the Broncos. Gilbert has won seven in a row to remain at No. 6, while Pinnacle moves up a spot to No. 7. Brophy went 2-1 last week including the big win over Hamilton to move up to No. 8, while Tucson and Trevor Browne join the top 10. Mountain Pointe and Desert Vista fell out.

Division II

1. Greenway 27-1

2. Notre Dame 20-6

3. Sunnyslope 19-3-1

4. Liberty 15-2-1

5. Seton Catholic 15-6

6. Sahuaro 18-4-1

7. Ironwood Ridge 18-5

8. Sunrise Mountain 16-9

9. Verrado 19-3

10. Canyon del Oro 16-7

Greenway remains on top, while Notre Dame moves back up to No. 2 because its only loss last week came to Division I’s top-ranked team, Desert Mountain. Sunnyslope jumps back up to No. 3, while Liberty falls two spots to No. 4 after a loss to Cactus. Seton has now won 11 straight to get into the top five, followed by Sahuaro and Ironwood Ridge. Several ranked teams near the bottom of the top-10 had rough weeks, so it looks different. Sunrise Mountain and Verrado join the rankings, while Shadow Mountain and Gila Ridge drop out. Canyon del Oro drops three spots but hangs on at No. 10.

Division III

1. River Valley 20-1-1

2. Fountain Hills 22-3

3. Show Low 16-4

4. Willcox 17-3

5. Estrella Foothills 15-6

The top four teams went undefeated to remain in their spots. Estrella Foothills went 2-1 last week, but the loss came in a close contest against Division II Verrado, so the Wolves stick at No. 5.

Division IV

1. Yuma Catholic 17-1

2. Phoenix Christian 17-3

3. Desert Christian 16-3

4. Pusch Ridge 14-8

5. Tempe Prep 15-5

The top three spots are the same following unbeaten weeks for Yuma Catholic, Phoenix Christian and Desert Christian. Joy Christian lost a pair of games last week to drop from the top-5, replaced by Pusch Ridge. Tempe Prep hangs on at No. 5 after a 3-1 week.
