The Seton Catholic boys soccer team reached the 1A-3A state championship game with a 4-1 win Thursday over visiting Rio Rico.
The Sentinels (15-4-1), who last reached the finals in 2001, will take on Yuma Catholic in the title game at 4 p.m. Saturday at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek.
Seton broke a 1-1 halftime tie early in the second half on a goal by Carl Agudo off an assist by John Tobin. Wilkinson’s initial kick was stopped by the Rio Rico goalie, but Wilkinson pounced on the rebound and netted a goal.
