Outlook: Casa Grande got back on track last week with an easy win against Skyline, erasing a twogame losing skid.
Equally important were the second-half plays of the Cougars’ defense, which shut down Skyline after a first-quarter outbursts.
This will be the last game before the Gila Valley Region schedule begins. Region games mean everything for Casa Grande, which went 7-3 last year but didn’t make the playoffs.
The numbers for Carl Hayden are ugly: 21 points scored to 252 points allowed this season. Expect a repeat of last year’s score.
