Fumbles cost Notre Dame Saints in loss

Washington's defense forced four fumbles in the first half Friday en route to a 33-7 victory over Notre Dame Prepatory in a 4A Wells Fargo No. 2 Region game.

The Rams held the Saints to 39 total yards in the first half.

Washington scored the first 33 points of the game. Pedro Rangel ran the opening kickoff back 91 yards and also had an interception on defense. Morris Collins led the Rams with two rushing touchdowns.

Notre Dame's leading rusher, sophomore Cameron Malone, had 116 yards on 14 carries.
