Outlook: Notre Dame played topranked Cactus Shadows from wire to wire last week before succumbing on a last-minute field goal.
The Saints’ defense played well in the contest, picking off Falcons quarterback Phillip Aholt four times, but the offense could not muster a point in the final three quarters after putting up 17 off early turnovers. Overall, the game was a positive sign and shows Notre Dame can hang with the 4A-II elite.
Hapless Page lost to Flagstaff 46-0 last week. Notre Dame should roll.
