Highland scored three goals in the second half to defeat host Dobson 3-1 in a 5A-I Central Region girls soccer game Wednesday.
Abby Murray’s first-half goal gave the Mustangs (6-10-2, 2-2-1) the early lead, but they could not hold off the Hawks.
Highland (19-2-2, 3-2) received goals from Chenea Schacher, Karisa Price and Ashley Hatch to earn the victory.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Dobson’s Kyle Tomlinson hit a game-winning 3-pointer with one second remaining to lift the Mustangs to a 44-42 overtime victory over host Marana Mountain View.
Tomlinson finished the game with five points.
Jarrett Green led the Mustangs (13-9) in scoring with his game-high 18 points.
WRESTLING
Perry dominated visiting Casa Grande by winning 12 of 14 matches to come out with a 66-12 victory. Art Ratliff had the quickest win of the night for Perry by pinning Norbert Cruz in just 11 seconds.
In other wrestling action, Mountain View defeated Dobson, 45-19, and Mesquite beat Gilbert, 54-18.
