Updated baseball rankings, as of March 25:

Division I

1. Sandra Day O’Connor 16-0

2. Hamilton 9-2

3. Desert Mountain 14-3

4. Desert Ridge 14-5

5. Pinnacle 10-6

6. St. Mary’s 14-2

7. Mountain Pointe 7-3

8. Gilbert 11-6

9. Basha 10-4

10. Chaparral 10-7

Sandra Day O’Connor stays on top with the only unblemished mark, while Hamilton and Desert Mountain flip-flop after the Wolves lost to Chaparral. Desert Ridge had a great week to jump up to No. 4, beating Gilbert twice and Red Mountain. Pinnacle has won five in a row after a slow start to fly up to No. 5, followed by a St. Mary’s team which narrowly lost to Desert Mountain on Friday. Mountain Pointe, Gilbert and Basha took some lumps this week and slide down the rankings, while Chaparral jumps back in with the big win over the Wolves. Perry and Tucson drop out.

Division II

1. Liberty 8-0-1

2. Notre Dame 14-5

3. Greenway 14-1

4. Sunnyslope 11-3-1

5. Sahuaro 12-3-1

6. Ironwood Ridge 13-2

7. Sunrise Mountain 11-5

8. Gila Ridge 14-1

9. Canyon del Oro 11-4

10. Catalina Foothills 10-3-1

The top two teams stay the same, while surprising Greenway has moved up again on the strength of a 12-game winning streak. Sunnyslope, Sahuaro, Ironwood Ridge and Sunrise Mountain each drop a spot or two, while Gila Ridge is up to No. 8 and has also won 12 straight. Canyon del Oro rejoins the rankings after winning the Lancer Classic Tournament, and Catalina Foothills hold on to the last spot in the top-10. Salpointe drops out.

Division III

1. Fountain Hills 16-1

2. River Valley 14-1-1

3. Thatcher 9-0

4. Show Low 10-2

5. Bisbee 12-1-1

The top three teams remain the same after perfect weeks. Show Low went 4-0 last week to move up to No. 4, while Bisbee joins the rankings with its hot start. Estrella Foothills drops out.

Division IV

1. Yuma Catholic 10-1

2. Pusch Ridge 10-1-1

2. Phoenix Christian 10-3

4. Desert Christian 11-3

5. Joy Christian 11-3

Yuma Catholic went 3-0 last week to remain in the top spot, while Pusch Ridge and Phoenix Christian switch spots following the Cougars’ loss to Scottsdale Prep. Desert Christian is up to No. 4 and Joy Christian joins the rankings. Tempe Prep drops out.
