Outlook: Ah, finally some familiar territory for Seton coach Pete Wahlheim.
All season, Wahlheim talked about how he didn’t know how to handle an undefeated team, but each week his Sentinels would come out and win. Now, Wahlheim knows what to do to get a team ready for a playoff run.
“We’re going to take it one game at a time and go from there,” said Wahlheim, who has an undefeated team for the first time in his six years at Seton. “That’s how we are approaching it. I think we’re ready to make a run. We are fairly healthy and that was one of our main goals getting here.”
Seton should have little trouble in its rematch with the Broncs, who have lost three straight games coming into the postseason.
No one has been able to slow down the Seton offense. The Sentinels have scored 413 points (45.9 points per game). The fewest points the Sentinels have scored this season is 32 in a win over defending champion Coolidge.
“We had some success against them so we’re not going to do a whole lot different,” Wahlheim said.
