Visiting Coolidge hung on for a win in a 3A South Region game. The Bears (6-2, 5-0) scored first on a 48-yard touchdown run by Brad Jackson, but the kick failed.

The Falcons (3-5, 3-2) tied the game on a 55 yard touchdown reception by Robert Rossfeld from Jason Fairfield, and Fountain Hills also failed on its extra point attempt.

Coolidge took a 18-6 lead at halftime after touchdown runs by Jackson and Jeremy White.

The Falcons cut the lead to five on a 1-yard run by Fairfield, but Charlie Garrett added a 2-yard touchdown run for the Bears to put the game away.
