Pinnacle advanced to the semifinals of the Nike Tournament of Champions on Thursday with a 70-57 win over Salesian High School (CA) at Basha High School.
The Pioneers (17-0) were led by Sydney Wiese who finished with 30 points and seven assists.
Wiese had just two points in the first half as Pinnacle trailed by a point at intermission.
The Pioneers controlled the second half and will face Windward High School (CA) on Friday at 4:15 in the semifinals. Britta Nordstrom added nine points and 12 rebounds.

Sierra Jerriel scored 20 points to lead Fountain Hills past Scottsdale Christian, 69-20. Anna Long led the Eagles with 10 points.
