Division I

1. Pinnacle - Last year's 5A-II semifinalists return top-6 scorers, including Drew Bender and Dorian Pickens

2. Corona del Sol - ASU-bound Calaen Robinson leads solid core of returners

3. Mountain View - 5A-I champs lose Jaren Sweeney and others, but Camyn Boone returns

4. Desert Vista - Danny Powell and Jeff Lowery lead a talented squad

5. Basha - Jaron Hopkins, Maurice Kirby and Torren Jones are talented trio

6. Cesar Chavez - Champions quickly becoming basketball power

7. Brophy - James Harper and Frederick Gammage lead the way for 5A-I runners-up

8. Chaparral - If Dylan Cozens and Jarvis Lewis don't play basketball, Firebirds will drop

9. Hamilton - Is there enough talent around ASU commit Eric Jacobsen?

10. Dobson - Kyle Tomlinson and Marcus Tipton return and sophomore Kodi Justice should have immediate impact

Division II

1. Amphitheater - Lester Medford is gone, but Tim Derksen on the prowl for another title

2. Fairfax - Transfer Stacy Davis will play big role in team's shot at repeating

3. Arcadia - Larry Lewis and Andrew Naderer lead experienced group

4. Nogales - Defending 4A-I champions get Joseph Monreal and Cesar Solis back

5. Raymond Kellis - Kenny Martin and Demetrius Balark are great 1-2 punch

6. Peoria - DeWayne Russell and Lawrence Pierce lead the Panthers

7. Paradise Valley - Paul Watson is one of state's top juniors

8. Thunderbird - Marcus Wheeler the driving force for Chiefs

9. Salpointe - Lancers are moving down to Division II, and could be in the mix

10. Saguaro - Ryan Berg must lead inexperienced group with Jack Connors gone

Division III

1. Gilbert Christian - All five starters return from 1A runners-up, led by Connor Patterson and Sam Jones

2. Holbrook - Defending 3A champs return Jalen Jackson among others

3. Window Rock - Jaydiamond Taliman has a standout game to go with standout name

4. Scottsdale Christian - Jake Cippoletti and Tuff Barnes move on, but Cody Ostertag leads new group

5. Thatcher - Significant number of returners from last year's 28-win squad

Division IV

1. Phoenix Country Day - Returns nearly everyone of significance, led by A.J. Hess

2. El Capitan - Leading scorer Matthew Blackmore is gone, but Lee Barlow more than ready to take over

3. St. Gregory - On a bit of a rebuild, but always tough

4. Arizona Lutheran - Everyone back from 2A quarterfinal team

5. Joy Christian - 6-foot-10 Jeremiah April should fill up stat sheet
