Phoenix Country Day tennis team falls again to Thatcher Tribune East Valley Tribune | 0 comments

The Phoenix Country Day boys tennis team came up short of a 1A/2A state team title Saturday when Thatcher beat the Eagles, 5-2.

It was the second straight year that Thatcher has defeated Country Day in the finals. Thatcher won 5-4 last year.

Tucson Pusch Ridge defeated 2006 champ Thatcher, 5-3, in the girls competition.
