Outlook: After dropping a pair of 3A South games to Safford and Coolidge, Florence is in need of a pick-me-up.
The Gophers, playing for the first time in 3A, likely will need a win over the Dust Devils and then a victory over either Seton Catholic or Sahuarita if they have any hope of making the playoffs.
Florence will look to re-ignite its rushing offense, which was held to 57 yards in a loss to Coolidge. Coach Shawn Cluff will look for more production from fullback Kyrion Nelson, who is second on the team in rushing behind tailback Dishon Abbs.
