You are point on with this article. The ones who lose out are the kids. I really have to question how this is a safety issue. The ironic thing is this will blow over in a few years, the hype will subside, and these programs will return. Nothing will be gained except the kids lose out on playing good competition outside of their home state. Maybe someone ought to send this article to Ozzie Guillen who says he will personally boycott the MLB
All Star game in our state. I thought you first have to win the pennant for you to get there or be named, neither of which I believe will happen. I 've got a question for him, why not boycott spring training in AZ?
