Two weeks ago, McClintock was unbeaten and appeared to be headed for big things. Now the Chargers are fighting for their playoff life.
McClintock played well in the easy part of its schedule. But last week, Saguaro was able to stifle the Chargers’ offense because McClintock was unable to get its running game going.
Facing Pinnacle probably won’t provide much relief. The Pioneers could lock up a playoff berth with a victory, and they aren’t interested in repeating last year’s disappointment when they barely missed the second season by losing three of their last five games.
