The Bears open their bid to repeat as 3A champions with fewer question marks than they had last year.
The offensive line was a big problem last season and it showed early on, as the Bears struggled to beat the Lobos and then lost to Blue Ridge.
However, by the end of the season, Coolidge was rolling, as shown by the 48-0 win over Snowflake in the first round of the 3A playoffs.
Snowflake returns the vast majority of its offensive skill players, including quarterback Derek Fusselman, but the Lobos are going to have to rebuild up front. Coolidge is not the kind of team you want to play anytime, let alone when you are starting inexperienced linemen.
