Outlook: This game will go a long way in the playoff picture.
Both teams are hanging on at No. 14 and 16, respectively.
With Brophy and St. Mary’s ahead in the standings, winning a Desert Valley Region title is probably out of the question for the Trojans, but being .500 in region play would mean something, as would the chance to go into next week’s Horizon clash on a winning note.
Charles Hubbard and Mike Williams should have big days for the P.V. backfield. One of these days, P.V. will have to win a close game; they’re 0-3 in games decided by a touchdown or less this year.
Address: 3950 E. Bell Road, Phoenix
Records: Shadow Mountain 3-5, 1-2; Paradise Valley 3-5, 1-2
Last year’s meeting: Paradise Valley 49, Shadow Mountain 7
