Outlook: The Falcons found their running game last week, racking up 230 yards on the ground in a hardfought 20-16 win over Eloy Santa Cruz.

Fullback D.J. Morris had a big night, running for 127 yards. Morris should continue to see the bulk of the work, but Cameron Estes will also get some carries for the Falcons.

“We wanted to see if he could hang with it and he did real well,” Fountain Hills coach Jim Fairfield said of Morris. “We want to dominate on the ground first.”

The biggest challenge facing the Falcons is the long ride up to Tuba City. The Falcons will board their bus at 11 a.m. and drive more than four hours. If they can shake off the effects of the trek early, the ride home will be a lot more enjoyable.

Address: Warrior Drive, Tuba City

Records: Fountain Hills 1-1, Tuba City 1-1

Last year’s meeting: Fountain Hills 53, Tuba City 0
