Travis Miner had 74 yards rushing and a touchdown on 14 carries to lead McClintock to a 22-7 victory Friday over host Glendale.

The Chargers (4-4, 2-2 4A Skyline) were held scoreless in the first half, punctuated by a fumble by McClintock quarterback Travis Kaahanui near the Cardinals' (5-4, 2-2) goal line.

In the second half, Miner scored on a 17-yard run with 8:45 left in the third quarter. The Chargers recovered an onside kick on the ensuing play, which set up a 19-yard touchdown pass from Kaahanui to wide receiver Xavier Lucas.

Kaahanui finished 11-of-18 for 138 yards.

Crucial turnovers late in the game proved costly for the Cardinals, including three second half interceptions by quarterback Ken Machemer.
