Phoenix Arcadia wore down Tempe High, 28-6, Friday night in a 4A East Sky game at Arcadia.
Arcadia (8-1, 3-1) used an efficient ground attack and selective pass plays to dismantle Tempe’s defense. Junior running back Chad Cullen led the Titans with 146 yards on the ground and one score on 20 carries. He also completed one pass for 22 yards to keep a late third-quarter drive alive.
Junior quarterback Pedro Rubio led the Buffaloes (1-8, 0-4) with 99 passing yards and a touchdown on 7-of-16 passing.
