Okay Bill, explain this to me. She killed him, admitted it, said self-defense. So what does conviction do? Emboldens men who beat women. That's like a plus? And first degree? She brought a gun, and stabbed him? It isn't a trial, it isn't even due process. It's a guillotine in the village square. Most murderers get away with it, that's just lame. When you catch one, you could at least examine it in such a way as to catch more. Don't you think Bill? I'd rather not be murdered, which is my only skin in the game. Isn't that why I pay my taxes?24 hours ago
I guess arrogant and condescending is pretty elastic, in that one size seems to fit all. What I find funny is the naiveté
“Fair wages and full employment for the ‘47 percent’ will grow our economy faster than more top-loaded tax breaks!” When the problem is over supply caused by over production such a circumstance would crash everything in a matter of days. 2 days ago
“The most erroneous assumption is to the effect that the aim of public education is to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence, and so make them fit to discharge the duties of citizenship in an enlightened and independent manner. Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States, whatever the pretensions of politicians, pedagogues and other such mountebanks, and that is its aim everywhere else.” ― H.L. Mencken5 days ago
"An original is a creation motivated by desire. Any reproduction of an originals motivated be necessity. It is marvelous that we are the only species that creates gratuitous forms. To create is divine, to reproduce is human.” Man Ray
Public education is reproduction, and if we convince everyone it is good and to do it, we never progress. That is why people like Steve Jobs, and others were drop-outs. We need to be divine.7 days ago
• Persistent sad, anxious or empty feelings. And sixty years of mistakes.
• Feelings of hopelessness, and/or pessimism. I am a pessimist, if I had a chance to influence anything I wouldn't, don't want the responsibility. But I am a occasionally happily surprised
• Feelings of guilt, worthlessness and/or helplessness Never helpless, constantly guilty and probably worthless, if I think about it.
• Loss of interest in activities or hobbies once pleasurable, including sex most of them, after a while the novelty fades.
• Fatigue and decreased energy. I can't play handball or squash anymore,
• Difficulty concentrating, remembering details and making decisions. Yeh, it gets harder, but decisions grow and are considered longer
• Insomnia, waking up during the night, or excessive sleeping. Every night between four and five.
We all get there. it's called growing up. And unless we die young, we will all have to do it, So women grow up faster than men do, That's all you've said.7 days ago
Education is either a residual power of the states or a personal choice, the DOE is an unConstitutional instrument to distribute graft. It is nothing else. Our government is supposed be limited and handle their sphere efficiently and economically. When unions and political privilege change the equation, the unintended result is graft and corruption. Let's do this bit the way Jim. Sam, John and the rest wrote it.1 week ago
Unfortunately we are your age, but someone could step up yet. As you are showing, people who care do a much better job than CPS, and are a lot less expensive. However the government 'professionals' distrust the average man, and the kids sleep in the office.1 week ago
How about sharing where you got yours?
Tax 'loopholes' are simply legal tax rules, in actuality, to follow the law you have to use them. If you find that somehow 'wrong' elect other people to write the tax codes.
Offshore accounts are there because they provide better service than American banks, mostly due to government over-regulation.
'Fair share' is always a con job especially when 47% pay nothing.
Obama is the king of bad timing. When he got in job one was the economy, in order to afford the rest of what he wanted. Instead, he killed the economy with Obamacare, and extends the recession (with it's high unemployment and high oil prices.) Now, with, as you pointed out, higher domestic oil production to help fund the economic recovery, he wants a 'fair share'. How he got the reputation of being brighter than any other high functioning moron is a bit of a puzzle.1 week ago
They take money from the government to run their organization, yes or no? Their organization provides abortions, yes or no? If yes to both, then tax money is supporting abortion, if their books don't agree with that, the books are cooked. QED. It's already proven by admission.1 week ago
Oh come on, PP is supported by taxes and performs abortions. Because they cook the books, isn't reason enough to disregard the facts. 1 week ago
