Yeah, they've also taken revenue away from public schools.
In turn, regular public schools 'take the pressure off' charter and private schools in serving special education students, which is very costly but doesn't bring in any more money than regular education students. Charter schools refer the special ed. kids to public schools all the time because they aren't required to provide those special services.Aug 26, 2011
Um, the district doesn't allow kids to cross major streets to get to school. If they live across the street, they are bussed.
