Most of the men in Apache county have at one time or another worked at the coal fire power plants which may explain why their life expectancy is lower to most other counties...whereas very few womwn work at these power plants which helps explain the 10 year difference...Jun 30, 2011
Will Humble is a hitler-like figure that wants to interpret law that serves his agenda. The real victims are the sick patients, most of whom are the poorest of the poor, who will be forced to pay $150 each year, pay for a doctor, pay higher prices for MJ since Humble wants each clinic to have it's own doctor, these costs will be passed on to the patient. Thanks Will for messing up a good law making MJ accessible for the rich, instead of the poor patients it was intended for. Might as well continue buying it illegally.Dec 18, 2010
Yes Hillstreet...they are a front to sell alcohol and prescription drugs...what a joke! Marijuana is NOT a Gateway!Dec 10, 2010
Mesa councilman are in "reefer madness" mode. You want medical marijuana patients to waste their gas, drive out of there way to Industrial parks to get their MJ. Shame on you! You're treating these patients as if they are criminals or prostitutes. You're trying to prevent potential dispensary owners from starting their own businesses, making them lease or buy costly industrial sites, making it hard for patients to find these locations. You are elected officials bound to carry out the law, not make up your own laws to obstruct justice. Go back to Utah where you belong, you hypocrites!Dec 9, 2010
Carolyn Short is a MORON...Nov 13, 2010
This isn't about legalization of MJ. It's about providing relief to those in constant pain and unbearable nausea, where the patient can't eat. Pain pills are slowly killing off patients. This is simply an alternative to those in pain. It's a better alternative to alcohol and pain pills, for some. The powerful Mormon lobby could not defeat this bill.Nov 13, 2010
Why should sick patients have to wait 180 days?
As a physician I hate prescribing meds that are slowly killing my patients. Alcohol and meds have killed countless people, but MJ has not. This prop is not about a gateway but is to help those who can't help themselves. It's about dying people and people who have extreme nausea. I urge you to vote YES on 203.Nov 1, 2010
As a physician who sees many dying patients..I too often have to prescribe medications that in the long run do more harm than good. Alcohol and prescription drugs have killed many patients but MJ has never killed one. Too many times I have patients throwing up in my office as they experience terrible nausea and pain. Vote YES on 203.Oct 29, 2010
As a Doctor, I see no evidence of MJ being a gateway, you provide no statistics as to its harm. MJ is far safer than the pain bills I prescribe. Terminal patients who come into my office throw up from their nausea caused by pain bills whereas MJ gives them some relief. If you had a family member who had a life threatening illness or paraplegia you would change your mind. VOTE YES on 203 for those who can't help themselves.Oct 26, 2010
If Brewer had a family member, severely disabled and in constant pain, she might feel different. The marijuana helps the patient to be able to eat without constantly throwing up. Almost every state in the west has medical marijuana. She just wants to get reelected and scare everyone.Oct 20, 2010
