"Your a liberal fascist and We The People Of This Great Nation Will Stick Together"
Team, yes you will. And you've done so to the demise of the GOP. Your party wishes to be right more than it wishes to deal with facts and reality. BTW, it's not working out for you!2 weeks ago
"Scientists in this section have made comments that the observed warming is more likely attributable to natural causes than to human activities."
The above is a quote from someone who thinks Al Gore is a scientist. Note the "more likely" and plenty more scientists have stated that human activities have caused warming.
Including the scientists on the NOAA site that Mr. Patterson quoted from. 2 weeks ago
Chat writes: Another liberal/progressive crying because they can't get more money from the government."
From the above article the RED states take more federal money and pay less in taxes. Who wants more money?2 weeks ago
So Mitt Romney was talking about his own party? Wow...

mcps52 quotes from the NOAA website that Patterson uses in his article---and asks a good question.
Please explain how "The global annual temperature has increased at an average rate of 0.06°C (0.11°F) per decade since 1880 and at an average rate of 0.16°C (0.28°F) per decade since 1970." , or a doubling of the overall average rate of change is "about the same rate and magnitude..."
Why does Patterson not discuss this in his original article? Where does Patterson get his information from?2 weeks ago
mnjcpa, The GOP kicked out so many people they are now a group of fringe radicals with not enough voters to support them in upcoming elections. Congrats!
The fact you keep bringing up Al Gore suggests you're stuck in the mud mentally. Gore is a politician and I listen to the scientists---you know the educated guys who spend their lifetime working on the data.2 weeks ago
Gee, if you bother to visit the NOAA page you see all sorts of things like "warmer than average", or "According to NOAA scientists, April 2013 was also the 37th consecutive April and 338th consecutive month (more than 28 years) with a global temperature above the 20th-century average."
Where is the science data that says the global temperature is just fine? Do I find this data on Fox News???2 weeks ago
Who cares about Al Gore--seriously!? The rightwing discounts 1000's of research scientists data simply because they think this is "liberal propaganda". The GOP is doomed with backward thinking on science.
I agree with AZ-Willie. The rightwing GOP ignores this fact because the GOP likes to make money in industries that need to not regulate their practices. Their attitude is "to hell with the environment, just make me lots of money!"
BTW, you see the report on what young Republican voters think of the modern GOP? I quote "'CLOSED-MINDED, RACIST, RIGID, OLD-FASHIONED'". That's what the GOP's own young voters think. Good job, GOP!2 weeks ago
Willie, it's no shock to me. The shock comes from the fact some people still listen and take the right-wing seriously.
They have based an entire political party on fact-devoid BS. I bet Dr. Patterson believes the earth is 6000 years old and gravity is a myth!3 weeks ago
Mr. Patterson, I went to the one source you addressed to discredit climate change--National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
On the front page right now: "According to NOAA scientists, April 2013 was also the 37th consecutive April and 338th consecutive month (more than 28 years) with a global temperature above the 20th-century average."
In addition, it states an increase in severe weather (such as Class F5 tornadoes) due to this global temperature change.
I fail to understand why< Patterson, the Chairman of the Goldwater Inst and the man responsible for Charter Schools of Arizona would so misrepresent the facts and science. Shameful!!
