Congrats to a Hayward, Wisconsin landmark business. Not that we would like to be there today - 23 inches of new snow.2 weeks ago
Prop 13 worked so well in California - NOT! Look, we hold elections to decide whether we want our property taxes to increase or not almost every year - if not directly, then through those we elect to make that decision in our interest.
Comparing property taxes here in Arizona to those in the midwest where most new to Arizona have roots, makes Arizona's property ownership the best bargain in the nation.
We don't need another initiative that puts our government - whether we trust them, like them, or claim to have voted for them - in a position of not being able to make the decisions we elected them to make.

Sorry Dataman, but over 25% of our adult population are either under-employed or unemployed. Providing substantive jobs to those adults will more than offset the reduction in commercial property tax to employers. Nov 20, 2010
Implementing this tax shift can be phased in over a number of years. We'll see the benefits of more jobs immediately. I would rather have a job that pays a living wage than have low property taxes I can’t afford to pay without that job.Nov 20, 2010
I'm not sure where the funding for this campus is coming from.Nov 15, 2010
My solution, lock the doors to the capital and give each legislator a one-way voucher to California. They can't come back to Arizona until they each bring a business with them that employees at least 30 people at $60k each. Nov 4, 2010
I'll be there for these forums. This can arguably be the most important race in Maricopa County. The future of college accreditation is at stake not to mention the District’s $1.6 Billion impact on our economy.Sep 17, 2010
