The Adult Education Department at Mesa’s East Valley Institute of Technology is offering three classes starting in February for those wanting to learn more about air brushing, Adobe Photoshop, and computers.

Students enrolled in classes at the East Valley Institute of Technology this fall can take part in the annual "Enrollment Completion Days" 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
EVIT Expo 2011 will be held Jan. 29 on the Mesa school’s campus, 1601 W. Main St. It will also mark the launch of the KVIT radio station. The event begins at 9 a.m. and is free. Check out classic cars, see a demonstration by the Mesa SWAT team, get your blood pressure checked, have your brakes checked or watch as flames are painted onto a car. You can also learn about classes for high school students and adults.
Students at the East Valley Institute of Technology will showcase their skills — from cosmetology to firefighting — during the Mesa school’s Tech Fest on Feb. 7.
Students new to EVIT’s Culinary Arts program will get one of their first hands-on learning experiences of the school year in the banquet hall rather than the kitchen.
Two adult students in the Surgical Technology program at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) were recently awarded scholarships totaling $3,500 for their outstanding academic achievement.
