The Republicans got sick and tired of going over ways to reduce the deficit, again and again with vice president Joe Biden (who the top Army general in Afghanistan laughingly referred to as "Bite Me" Biden and was fired for it).

Carnahan, a senior, injured the knee during an extra-point attempt in the second quarter of the Sun Devils’ 49-21 loss at California on Sept. 23.
