TUCSON -- It's an oddly quiet and peaceful place for a warehouse of so much future noise - from awful to sublime.

Samantha Anderson won the Talent and Most Photogenic Jr. Teen division of National American Miss state pageant last July in Scottsdale. She received $600, a $500 Barbizon Modeling Scholarship, and the opportunity to compete in NAM All-American pageant in Anaheim, Calif. The final pageant will be Nov. 25.

After her father passed away, Tamara Becerra took an interest in preserving family heirlooms that had been passed down over many generations. At the conclusion of the musical event, judges will announce finalists to compete for the grand prize 2-6 p.m. Aug. 20. The winner will receive a one-year contract as the official Mariachi of Fiesta Mall to serenade guests each Sunday.
