The Washington-based company said in a statement it decided to establish an Arizona office to meet demand in the second-fastest growing state in the nation. Xtreme provides information technology services to companies that do not have budget or size to have internal IT departments.

    Tempe’s YMCA branch is one of four in the Valley set to get solar panels next year in an effort to reduce energy costs. The panels are projected to reduce electric use by 21 percent at the Tempe location. The panels are manufactured by German-based Centrosolar America, which has a U.S. office in Scottsdale.
