Taylor Morrison announced Wednesday the close of its sale to a partnership of investment funds for $955 million.

On the residential front, Taylor Morrison has announced its Odyssey Series of new homes at Shamrock Estates in Gilbert.
Geoffrey and Kristin Pierce, along with their 2-year-old son Anson, are happy to be getting their dream home built at no cost after winning the 2009 Taylor Morrison Dream Home Giveaway. The San Tan Valley couple were selected out of more than 147,000 entries.
The developer of the Eastmark master-planned community in east Mesa has named seven homebuilders who will construct about 700 new houses next year in response to growing demand for housing in the Valley. Scottsdale-based DMB Associates anticipates the first homes will be available in mid-2013 as the first residential development takes shape on 3,200 acres it owns at the former General Motors Proving Grounds.
Lauren McCaleb of Chicago has been chosen as the 2011 Taylor Morrison Dream Home Giveaway winner, beating out more than 1.1 million entries to claim her $200,000 grand prize. And McCaleb plans to build that home at Adora Trails in Gilbert.
