Kids with a penchant for Play-Doh or modeling clay can follow in the footsteps of a master artist on Saturday.

The Mesa City Council is expected to vote on the reappointment of the city’s top judge later this month. The council discussed the reappointment of Presiding Magistrate Matt Tafoya in a closed meeting Thursday, one of a handful of such sessions on the issue in recent days.

Mesa Municipal Court is part of a pilot program to improve the efficiency of drunken-driving cases.
