Valley homeowners anxious to sell their houses in the sluggish market are turning to St. Joseph for help.

ST. LOUIS - At least the Coyotes will always have St. Louis. Phoenix, 0-9 on the road against the rest of the league, completed a two-game season sweep of the Blues at Scottrade Center on Saturday with a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

An NHL source confirmed Thursday that the Coyotes, who are in the market for a second goaltender with NHL experience, are interested in Curtis Joseph and that the team has had talks with his agent, Don Meehan.

The Coyotes added one of the final pieces to their 2005-06 roster Wednesday when they signed 38-year-old free agent goalie Curtis Joseph to a one-year contract.

Now that the first bigname player has been dealt on the weekend before the 1 p.m. Tuesday trade deadline – Keith Tkachuk from St. Louis to Atlanta – expect the wheeling and dealing around the NHL to heat up today as the hours tick down.
