  • article Smiling Mallomar is lots of fun

    Wednesday, May 30, 2012 9:19 am

Mallomar is a male Shepherd mix and about 9 years old. He was rescued from a county facility where it was found he was microchipped, but unfortunately the microchip’s contact information was not up to date. Mallomar has quite the smile, perhaps because he is told he’s an awesome dog. He hangs out at “doggy daycare” during the week where he enjoys the company of other dogs. It is apparent he’s had training during his lifetime and he knows how to be a good house dog. Don’t let his age fool you, no one has told him he’s considered a “senior” so he’s still quite an active boy who enjoys play time as well as snuggles.

  • article 'Tooth Fairy' full of smiles, cliches

    Friday, January 22, 2010 4:33 pm

Review: "Tooth Fairy" steals liberally from "Monsters Inc." and "Elf," among many others. It's very much what you'd expect: a tale of optimism overcoming disbelief; family fare with comical casting (Julie Andrews as a Fairy Godmother); a PG-rated "SNL" skit; The Rock in a tutu.
