    Tom Anderes will begin his appointment as president of the Arizona Board of Regents on July 1. The Board approved Anderes' contract last week. He will replace Joel Sideman, who will retire on June 30 after more than 20 years of service. Anderes is currently senior vice president for administration and fiscal affairs at the University of Wisconsin system. He worked at Arizona State University from 1978-1983 as assistant director of university budgets and holds multiple degrees, including two from the University of Arizona.
